Magic Wood are committed to producing their wooden toys in a social, and environmentally responsible way. The wood used for their toys is from sustainable FSC timber and their wooden blocks and treehouses are sourced from reclaimed branches – no living tree is felled for their manufacture. Each part is carefully sanded and finished with natural and non-toxic flaxseed oil for durability and playability, and the bark is left on for natural texture. Bark covered blocks are heat treated to fuse the bark to the wood, providing a strong and robust bond, but please bear in mind it is a natural product which may be affected by heat, moisture or wear.
